A devoted student, chasid, and emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Popack founded Chabad Lubavitch of Colorado in 1978 and served as its director until his passing in 2022.

Inspired and driven by the Rebbe’s directive to “Keep the light of Torah shining ever more brightly in all parts of Colorado,” Rabbi Popack facilitated the growth of Chabad to nearly 20 centers across the state. 

The continued growth of Chabad Lubavitch throughout Colorado, and the countless lives that are impacted, are a living testament to Rabbi Popack’s legacy.
